Today I will share the most delicious and the easiest beaked pasta recipe. This is my favorite pasta dish. And all my family and friends love it. I learned this from my friend a couple of years ago. I was surprised by the way she cooked and I was even more surprised by the way it tasted. You will, too, be surprised by the way I cook and you will be even more surprised by its taste.
So here is the recipe!
Baked Fusilli
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium size onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic minced
1 pound ground beef
2 and 1/2 cups pasta
3 cups marinara sauce
1 and 1/2 cups water
salt and pepper, to taste
2 cups mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
First, heat the olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion to the oil and cook for several minutes until it gets translucent. Add minced garlic and cook another 2 minutes.
Add ground beef and cook until the meat is all brown.
I got this pasta from a supermarket.
Add 2 and 1/2 cup of your favorite gluten-free or regular pasta. I know I know… I didn’t cook the pasta. I was surprised too when I saw this. Just hang in there.
This time I used prepared marinara sauce but you can make your own tomato sauce if you want.
Throw in a jar (about 3 cups) of prepared marinara sauce and add 1 and 1/2 cups of water. Stir occasionally and let the sauce simmer on low.
Cook pasta until not quite al dente. Season with salt and pepper. Pour everything into a 10×13″ baking dish.
Grate some mozzarella and sprinkle it over the pasta.
Next, add some Parmesan or Romano or Asiago or everything…whatever you have at home.
Pop in the preheated oven at 350 and bake for about 20 minutes until cheese gets melt and bubbly. Take it out from the oven and let it sit for a while.
By the way, eat some salad just to make you feel better before eating this cheesy food.
Oh my…
Once you taste this you will always want to make pasta this way. Even Mario Batali will love this pasta…he will devour it…I hope…^__^
And there is one less thing to wash!
This recipe sounds amazing! I want to make it. Pasta is one of my favorite things to eat! Thanks for sharing. I really love your blog, Jueun! Very inspirational, helpful, and great recipes, too.
