The summer is here, and it is too hot to cook in front of the stove. Grilling meat and vegetables can be a simple and delicious dinner for your family in the summer. But, grilling is not the best way of cooking, as you may already have read many times in my posts. Cooking meat at a high temperature without moisture can cause chemical reactions that release some toxins which can be harmful to your body. Try to eat raw food as much as you can, but if you have to cook something, just remember two things: low temperature and moisture.

Also, store-bought condiments are loaded with lots of stuffs that is of no benefit to your body at all. Adding a few dabs of ketchup on your burger won’t kill you, but it can accumulate in your body, and it can affect your health. So, I recommend making them at home.

It’s really simple.

Homemade ketchup

2 cans (28 ounces each) peeled ground tomatoes
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup honey
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon mustard powder
1 whole clove
1 and 1/2 teaspoon pink salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Put all the ingredients in a pot and bring it to a boil. Then reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 50 minutes or until it thickens.

I burned them a little bit because I had to answer the door for a delivery.

So even if the UPS deliveryman is ringing the doorbell with your package, don’t answer him.

This may not grilled pork ribs, but you and your family will still enjoy them.
